Heidi Cullinan Cover Reveal! Introducing the upcoming… Love Lessons + Giveaway!

Thanks so much, Cole, for hosting my “cover reveal”! I’d never done one, but they sounded so fun, and Cole was nice enough to let me play the game.

I stared this book last summer after reading a string of LGBT young and new adult novels because I felt so incredibly happy while I read those books, and I thought man, if reading them makes me happy, surely I’ll be extra happy writing one! So I set out to write a light, fun, sweet, college-aged romance.

Of course thinking writing would ever be simple and easy was a very silly idea, but the book did turn out to be everything I’d wanted it to be and yet so much more than I’d ever dreamed. It’s my husband’s favorite of anything I’ve written, and my agent and editor love it too. I can’t wait until other people can start reading it, because I truly believe I achieved what I wanted: even editing this book makes me happy, and for the first time ever, I was sad to close the editing notes because it was over.

This cover was done by the amazing Kanaxa: you can see her other work here. I had no idea what exactly I wanted this cover to look like, and I’m so glad I had no preconceived notion of what to expect, because this is absolutely stunning. It’s my favorite cover of any I’ve ever had, and I’ve had some great ones.

Now, just a few notes from Cole

First, can I just say HOLY SHIT that cover freakin rocks?! What do you guys think? The moment that Heidi showed it to me the first thing I said was, “Is that by Kanaxa?! I love Kanaxa’s covers!”

And if the cover isn’t enough to draw you to the book, as well as the already-loved author, this blurb had me immediately wanting to read the story. It’s right up my alley, so I can’t wait to read it. Without a doubt, if I had just seen it in the new releases at Samhain, I would have immediately requested it for review.
